Window 7 Whopper @ Burger in Japan

Not sure if they're having this in US, but in Japan, you can get a Windows 7 Whopper at a Burger King in Japan for the price of 777 yen (about $8.50) for the first 30 customers everyday from now to the 28th.

This burger comes with 7 patties. Guess why!

Dyson's bladeless fan

Known for its powerful vacuum cleaners, Dyson has a new fan for gadgeteers.

Yes, I know, this has nothing to do with iPhones, but it's too cool of a gadget for me to pass by.

First of all, this fan has no blades. So it's safe and you won't worry about blades hurting your kids or pets.

Second, you can disassemble the fan, so you can store it away. Now if you live in a city like Tokyo, where space is not plentiful, this is awesome. Well, the summer has gone by, so I'm guessing I'll consider this next year.

Third, you looks like it's from the future!

Check out Dyson's site for more info. There are a couple of models, and prices start at $299.99!!! A hefty price for a fan alright... I think I'll wait for version 2 =)

Apology from Facebook

I happen to be one of the unlucky ones that couldn't access Facebook for a week or so. They finally got around fixing it, and here's the apology from them.

Anyway, it's great is working again. I've got photos I need to share!

A white charging station with a classic touch

If DIY charging stations (links to examples at the end) aren’t your thing, Pottery Barn has one for you. The Bedford Smart Recharge Station has 4 open holes for your cables and wires to come out from the back compartment. It includes a power strip that supports up to six plugs. And lastly it comes with a small pull-out drawer, which would be great for storing accessories.

It comes in Antique White, Espressor, Black, Antique Honey, Mahogany stain (no longer available), and Red. It costs 79 dollars, but it’s on sale for $64.00 at PotteryBarn.com. Antique Honey and Red are on sale for $49.99.

Kor One: Water Bottle 2.0

Yes! Finally a water bottle that goes with your Wii and other shiny white gadgets.

Actually the company prefers not to call the Kor One a water bottle, but rather a “hyrdration vessel.”

What’s cool about Kor One:

  • It’s white and sports a clean, simple, yet elegant design
  • You only need one hand to open the bottle. According to the Kor One’s website, it “swivels open with a press of a button and a twist of the wrist.”
  • Supposedly it’s made of materials that won’t contaminate the water like most other water bottles.
  • You can personalize the bottle by putting a message (for example, a self motivating / inspiring message) under the cap. The message is printed on an oval-disk shaped, biodegradable, water-proof token. Every time you drink some water, you’ll see your personalized message.
The Kor One is available in August and will cost you $29.95 in US.
